What we store, and why.

Who this covers

Visitors to zwayrank.com and users of the ZwayRank app at app.zwayrank.com. The service is provided by Zway Studios. Questions go to hello@zwayrank.com.

What we collect on the website

Standard analytics through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: pages viewed, rough location from your IP address, browser and device type. We use it to see which pages help and which do not. You can block it with a browser setting or extension and the site works the same.

What we collect in the app

• Your account: your email address, and a password if you set one. Sign-in codes are sent by email through our email provider and expire within an hour.
• Your workspace: the brands you add, the questions you track, the answers the AI engines gave, your rankings, the pages and posts the crew drafts, your settings and your keys. Each workspace has its own database, isolated from every other customer.
• Your keys: the OpenRouter and DataForSEO keys you paste are stored in your workspace and used only to make calls on your behalf. They never leave the server except toward those providers.
• Usage: what the app did and when, in the record you can read yourself.

What we do with it

Run the service for you. That is all. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use your content to train anything.

Who else touches it

• Model and data providers you chose, on your own keys: OpenRouter, DataForSEO, and the image or video models you switch on.
• Our hosting provider, where the app and its databases run.
• Our email provider, for sign-in codes, reports and alerts.
• GitHub, when you connect a site, using the token you provided, to commit the pages you approved.
• Our authentication provider, for sign-in and the registry of workspaces.

Where it lives and for how long

On servers run by our hosting provider, with an encrypted backup taken every night. Your data stays as long as your workspace exists. Delete a brand and its data goes with it; ask us to delete your workspace and it is gone, backups included, within thirty days.

Getting it out

Workspace settings has an export of everything, and every report downloads as a PDF. Write to hello@zwayrank.com for anything the export does not cover.

Emails we send

Sign-in codes, a weekly report, and alerts when the crew needs you. The report and the alerts have a switch in Workspace settings. We do not send marketing email.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of the site's sitemap moves and we email account holders.
